I had a crash with my clio campus 2007 yesterday. My question is: what's the difference between Clio 2 and Clio Campus, regardless bonnet and front bumper.
Is front bumper or bonnet same in any Clio 2 as on Clio Campus 2007.

New to Renault
Hi all, just bought my first ever Renault. Its a Laguna 2 and I'm very pleasantly surprised. Its only a 1.6, so not the fastest thing in the world, but that's not what I was looking for. If anyone can give me any useful hints and tips on things to watch for, I'd be most grateful. In the meantime, does anyone know how to stop the spanner light flashing without plugging in to anything? The car has just had an oil service, but the light wasn't reset.

1.5 dci DF249 fault code
Hi,
My Megane has another problem.. It stalls quite often and displays "Injection fault". Read the codes and DF249 Injection control: value outside tolerance limits was present.
What does it mean? New injectors needed?
Engine itself starts fine, but then stalls. Sometimes few seconds after starting, sometimes it works longer time.

To start I've always been in to driving amd cars that reward that and have owned 5 tuned r53 cooper s's with the last being 221whp with the suspension, wheels, brakes etc to make it a real weapon. After regrettably selling that I ended up in a mk2 Tt dsg convertible which was actually a lot better then you think but after a trip to the Ring in April I realised that there must be a reason ever other car was a megane Rs so decided I needed on, so the day I got back I bought this bad boy.

Plans are to get up to rstuning and get Paul to map her, some decent coilovers, better pads, 265 xenon headlights and lots and lots of driving

Renault Clio 1.2 2004 Brake Problems Etc...
Hi all,
My Renault Clio's brakes have been playing up for the last few weeks, the normal juddering when you push the peddle as if it's grinding metal on metal.
I have taken the pads off, checked them, completely fine so can't be that ( I don't think)
Discs are like new so can't see them being the problem.
I've taken it to a garage yesterday and he has come back and said the following;
It needs a new ABS Pump
New Springs
New driver side CV joint as it's very loose
Is there any else I should be looking for or if I replace the above will the problem be sorted?
Just another point as well, about 4 months ago the car cut out but felt like it stalled whilst I was driving. The ABS light and the engine light came on and the car wouldn't start. 2004 1.9DCi Scenic Wont Start
I'm looking at 2004 1.9DCi Scenic for a neighbor but can't get to the bottom of it's issues. We live out in Cyprus and he was driving home one afternoon when he heard a thud and his battery warning light came on. He chanced it and drove home a further 40 minutes or so as he didn't want to get stuck. He got home, turned off the engine and it then wouldn't start, only turning over and occasionally firing but not starting.
He replaced his battery as this is what he thought it was. It still wouldn't start so he asked me to take a look. I spotted his alternator belt had gone and his tensioner had seized so eventually replaced both. I noticed that there were bits of belt in his timing case too, removed the cover best I could and removed the little bits. Timing belt looks OK from what I could see and have turned engine over numerous times by hand and there doesn't sound like any horrible noises of valve meeting piston etc.
I'm getting 2 faults showing on an OBD reader.
P03040 camshaft position sensor A circuit bank 1 or single sensor
and
P0670 Glow plug control module control circuit / open
Not really sure how to test the cam shaft sensor but if i clear the code it doesn't reappear until the engine's been cranking a long time.
I've checked the resistance of each glow plug and they're all giving a similar reading of 1.4 ohms.
when the ignition is switched on the glow plug light indicator comes on for a second then goes out, but I wouldn't have thought that glow plugs not working out here in Cyprus would stop an engine starting? Surely eventually it would get going.
Does any body have any ideas what to check on this now? at my wits end and would definitely appreciate it.

Clio 2 1.2 8v 1999 Not Starting - No Coil Power
Hi,
My Clio won't start. Immobiliser is turning off with key and turns over engine. No spark. Tried changing TDC sensor no change. Tested power to 3 wire plug to coil and nothing on any terminal. Fuel pumps to inlet rail.
I've noticed that ABS light and Service light goes off when ignition turns on, along with immobiliser light. When cranking the immobiliser light stays off but ABS & Service light come on. It may always have done that, not sure if it indicates anything.
Checked the relay connections on nearside wing, seem ok, sprayed with contact clean.
Rummaged about all the cables I can access but not tested any specifically as no wiring diagram.
Once, I had disconnected battery for several minutes and then reconnected and it still didn't start, but I then recoded radio and clock, and it started. I turned the car on and off several times ok, but in the morning tried again and no start. Doing the battery disconnect and radio code made no difference. It has not run since.
Sorry for long intro, but its been that sort of job and internet search seems to be bogged down with immobiliser lights flashing or no fuel.
Any ideas on where to try next?

17" alloys on my Megane III ... ??

Recently bought a 1.5 DYNAMIQUE TOMTOM DCI AUTOMATIC 2dr (2011) which obviously doesn't have a spare wheel (duhhhhhh) but instead uses this stupid sealer/inflation kit.
The car has the 'optional' 17" alloys fitted with 205/55 R17 tyres.
Can anyone please identify the rims for me (see pic) and possibly the off-set data as I already know the wheel is 5 x 114.3 stud pattern??

Brake Fluid
Just put my 2006 Espace in for a service at a well known service company here in Spain - everything went fine apart from one strange thing which I have never come across before. They called me and said the brake fluid needed to be changed. I queried why and they said they did a test on the fluid and it did not "pass the test" they did. They charged an additional 90 euros for the test and labour and fluid to do the job which I felt was a bit steep. Is this normal or have I been rooked because the rest of the service was a very reasonable price? And why would brake fluid need changing?

Grand scenic reverse light problem
Hi all
I have a 2005 Grand scenic and this is my problem.
The reverse lights do work as do the reversing sensors, however, when i go to engage reverse, the lights and sensors only some on briefly and then go off. Its as if when reverse is fully engaged, its gone past the switch. If i dis-engage reverse slightly i can get the reverse light to stay on.
How can I sync this so the reverse lights come on when reverse is fully engaged and not before???

'99 (V) Megane liberte 1.4e 5dr hatch fuel rail leak
Hello, I have recently (the last 48hrs), come across a problem with my megane. I have a fuel leak from the drivers(uk) side of the fuel rail.
I have attached 3 pics (you will have to excuse the black duct tape, it is a very temporary fix).
I am hoping that one of you fine gentlemen (or ladies), will be able to enlighten me as to what parts i require. It apears that the part i have the duct tape on is a 90 degree bend, i dont know if this is a insert/clip piece or supposed to be part of the rail itself, but that is where the leak is coming from. I pushed the end in relatively hard and the spray/mist stopped and i taped it up for now.
according to my v5 the engine number is DA09387 but this means little to me as a google search for that engine code doesnt resolve anything. I cant even say if this is a 8v or 16v, I honestly havent a clue :)
Any speedy help (to avoid me going up in flames) would be greatly appreciated.

Clio Mk2 1.4 Alize Automatic Speedo
Hello, I wonder if anyone can help me here.
I have a LHD Mk 2 Clio 1.4 Alize Automatic that i am soon to be importing from The Netherlands to the UK.
I have to make some changes for it to pass a British MOT, i know what i have to do however i am having some trouble finding a speedo/instrument cluster.
Currently the speedo on the car only reads in Km/s. I need either a MPH or dual MPH,Km/s dial.
I have been looking everywhere for this specific cluster with no joy! It need to be the one where the 7000rpm is around the 1 o'clock position and under is a small space that informs you what gear you are in.
there are 2 types for that model, one is the 1.4 4 speed and the other is the 1.6 5 speed. i need the 1.4 4 speed..
Can anyone tell me if there are other models of renault that use the same cluster? or does anyone know where i can get the part number from?
the car is currently still in NL so i can't take out the cluster and find the part number myself?

Glow plug problem.
Just looking at a 53 plate clio diesel & there is no glow plug light coming on at ignition on. Found it has blown a 25 amp fuse in the fuse box. Replaced the fuse & it blew again as ignition went on. Took the plug off the glow plug relay in case there was a short in it but still blew the fuse again. The car just died while driving. Any ideas folks.

ABS Pump fault engine shut down
Hi Folks. I hope one of you kind people can help me again with yet another Laguna fault. My 1.9 dci 05 plate facelift model has the dreaded abs light on and when I put clip onto it I have the following issues.
DF010 Pump Motor Circuit
DF197 Fuel Pressure Info
DF226 Inlet Flap Circuit.
If I boot it and bring the revs high up the engine malfunction comes on and engine cuts out but can be restarted immediately off the button.
The abs light can be turned off and stays off until you take the car above 17kms and then the light comes back on with same fault. I have clip on it and monitor the abs wheel sensors and all are working ok and giving speed readings when car is moving. Is this an issue with abs pump fault or abs ecu fault or knowing my luck both. I am also thinking of replacing fuel pressure sensor on end of common rail to see if this is the issue with engine. The inlet flap is a new one on me.

Had this 04 plate scenic for a good few years but for the last year every so often when under load and needing power I get the injection fault warning (the car never looses powers and still drives as normal, no starting issues etc)
I want to get this sorted as will soon be left with the other half all day and she will only get in my back !
Anyway i put in a diagnostic reader and got the following
1- P0409 - exhaust gas recirculation sensor a circuit
2 - P0670 - glow plug control module control circuit / open
3 - P0089 - fuel pressure regulator 1 performance
Now I know these are generic codes so was hoping someone could shed some light on what I start to need looking at / replacing ?
