Hi all,
Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can get a workshop or service manual for my Kollywobble. I have tried to download but they seem pretty useless and a bit of a rip off. I am sure there's more to a service than bumper removal lol.
I know the 2009 Kollywobble is a rare beast but there must the something out there.
Cheers guys

Hey all, so I recently had my instrument cluster fail. Was unable to get it repaired so I had to order a replacement. Fitted it to the car and praise God I have a dash display back!...Only, for some reason the display isnt showing anything for the stereo. The temperature and clock are there fine, but nothing for the radio which means I cant enter the code. Tried entering it blind to no avail. Any idea what the problem could be?

My 2006 mk3 DCI Clio (110,000miles) has a problem, hope you can help.
Accelerating up a hill to join a duel carriageway, doing about 55-60mph, the Stop and Engine warning light comes on. Slow the acceleration and all is well again.
The one previous owner had the car serviced and repaired at a large dealership, who replaced what looks like all of the fuel system and injectors, but still didn't fix the problem. They didn't find the fault, but mentioned fuel starvation.
I'm wondering if this could be the EGR valve, as there is no mention of this being looked at in the huge pile of receipts.
Your thoughts appreciated.

Had my car in the local dealer. The car displays "Check vehicle" and the amber spanner light comes on. This has happened a few times now usually coinciding when the stop/start has kicked in and the I manually engage the electronic handbrake. Took it to the dealer and they did not find a code corresponding to it. Another garage 6 months ago replaced the battery with a brand new Li-Ion battery (same as OE spec) so I doubt that's at fault.
Anyone got any ideas?

Hello
Firstly thanks for allowing me to join the forum, I am a novice with cars to say the least so please dont judge my botched attempt :|.
I attempted to do the timing belt on my megane useing my trusty Haynes manual. Followed every step and things went well engine turned perfectly when checking belt tension, and the tensioner stayed in the correct position.
When I came to start the car I was treated to a tinny knocking from inside the engine I immediately turned shut the engine down.
I seem to have knocked the timing out at some stage but Im at a loss for what to do next. Any advice would be really appreciated as I would like to see this one to its conclusion.
Thanks very much
Liam

Hi all I have 2 scenics one is 04 and one is 05 borh have little issues, the 05 to start as its the one Ive had longest i picked it up free as the bloke couldnt get it to run said he tried everything even bought a new key card, turns out it was one of those fuses on the battery terminal was broken, its only done 35000 miles and leaks oil I believe from the rocker but worst of all it has no heater fan also says check parking brake on the dashboard does anyone know how hard it is to repair any of these issues?
Now the 04 Ive bought recently needs the track rod ends doing witch isnt a problem what is though is the speedo is a bit sucky and I have to wedge the clip up to make it work but the radio screen wont work, now I was debating on replacing it but will I have to get the miles programmed into it or will it show the cars miles from a computer? Also needs boot struts witch isnt to bad either
Hope someone can help as in Guernsey Labour charges in garages have gone through the roof ohh and both are grand scenicss

My daily runabout for the past 16 months has been a 2001 Y plate 1.6 Scenic expression +, which I paid the grand sum of £250 for as a stop gap after a disaster with a Ford.
I thought maybe it's time for an upgrade. A 2006 Scenic 1.6 for sale locally at £1300, looked like a reasonable option. New clutch , cambelt ,Only two owners , 81k and a new MOT.
On the test drive, I found it to be a steaming pile of horse manure. Firstly,I couldn't get on with the electric handbrake. It was seriously under powered and i wasn't convinced the clutch was new with a very high bite. My seventeen year old Scenic is in considerably better order, despite needing a few jobs doing.
I really expected it to be a better car.
Needless to say, I didn't buy it.

Had endless trouble resetting the odometer on this car which worked occasionally but mostly not. Studied the manual and this mentioned to hold down the two buttons at once on the multi function stalk when in odo display. I just rarely could get this to work.
It appears to be a poor software issue as it looks like you mustn't press the two buttons at the same time but one just slighty after the other. Try this and see if it helps, did the trick for me - mostly.

p { margin-bottom: 0.25cm; line-height: 120%; } Hi I see there are many post on the blower issue about.
We have this Scenic 2004 II 1.6 Petrol VVT which seems to give us a steady supply of problems and I am getting to the end of my patience.
(Sometime ago I bought the H manual and a CD on the net that also only gives trouble and is unreadable. Essentially there is no useful diagnostic material I have other than a generic circuit from the HM.)
The blower suddenly died in the middle of the cold Winter without warning the wife is most unhappy about a freezing car that doesn't demist.
It appears that we have a high end model that gives a digital LCD display of 8 blower steps with AC, recirc and climate control. I believe the 8 fan speeds are electronically controlled via a DC motor speed control module? and NOT via the famous resistor pack as indicated in the HM. Would anybody be able to confirm this?
Also this Module appears to have a mind of its own and sometimes turns on aircon when I turn recirc on or similar or perhaps there is some clever software that determines it does something I don't want it to do? Would anybody know what it is meant to do when I set something?
I checked the fuse in the glove box which is OK. I would soo much like to be able to do some more diagnostics before destroying the dashboard assembly in a huge operation that is described here.
Does anybody know where the blower relay is located? Any access to any connector where I can measure or pull a wire to ground to try and hotwire the fan? I just have one last hope the relay has had it. But it appears reading here the fault is mainly with the blower or resistor pack. If no anwer I will try if I find a resistor pack as described in the "5 minute" post.
Thanks!
Michael

Hi all,
I'm an owner of a Mégane Sport RS2 2008 and I live in Costa Rica. I'm looking to change the coolant of my car. I know that the easiest answer is to buy Renault's Type D Antifreeze. However the local dealer doesn't offer it (yeah, the dealer sucks - but that's another topic).
So, what would you say it's the best Alternative Coolant for an RS2 other than the Renault Type D?
I've been looking online for options other than the Type D and so far I have just few details:
- Renault's Type D is the same as Gulf Organic Coolant
- The most important feature of the Type D is the ASTM D norm
I cannot locate the Gulf coolant in Costa Rica. Is it safe to look for any recognized brand with the ASTD D norm?
I appreciate any details and help you can give me.
Thank you,

Hi all,
Not sure if this is up here already but having a common fault with a mk4 1.2 clio and the fuel pipe unclipping at the engine.
It's happened about 3 times now, and has been looked at by the RAC, and an independant garage but no signs of damage.
Any other experiences of this and what to do?
Cheers

After searching the web I found in this forum posts about bearboxes with the problem jumping out of 5th gear, on ScenicII 1,6 16V. Some says that the big nut (27mm)that has to do with the 5th gear may have come loose. I removed the cover on my box, but the nut are not loose. And the mounting at the rear of the box is fine, also the linkage seems ok. Does this mean that my gearbox is finito? Car has aprx 150tkm on the clock.

Hey guys.
I have had my (megane mk2 2006 1.6 petrol) car scanned as it had a warning light. Which in turn wasn't on today bit still had it scanned by a friend.
This code was in the car P0340. I'm fairly sure of first part saying somethings wrong with Cam sensor ( if wrong please advise)
But what is " A sensor circuit bank 1 or single circuit"
Any and all info would be appreciated. I have attached a picture of scan.

Hi, I have a 2010 Megane cabriolet GT 2.0 petrol and for the last few weeks in slow moving traffic it seems to be doing what i can only describe as lurching. Any ideas what might be causing this? I have owned the car for 2 years now and it has 20k on the clock.

Before purchasing any wheel spacers please measure the gap between the outer edge of the tyre and the wheel arch. Take 5mm from this figure to help give the maximum thickness wheel spacer suitable for your vehicle. It is good practice to work to 5cm less than this figure to allow for movement in the vehicle suspension. When measuring your wheel gap always measure both the driver and passenger sides on the same axle as measurments may differ slightly and you should always work off the smaller of the two figures. This is especially important as spacers which have been fitted and / or tested cannot be returned.
Below you will find a brief glossary of terms you may encounter when checking the suitability of wheel spacers for your vehicle.
