Any ideas on Grand espace sat nav upgrade

Hello, I have a Grand Espace Initiale in excellent condition, the only drawback is the factory intalled satnav. Does any one knoe if there is a direct replacement, I'd rather have it in the same hole but willing to consider other options if they sit well in the dashboard area.

Newbie needs help!

Hello,
Im trying to sort out a clio 2003 (MK2). THe radio is dead as well as the interior lights and radio display. I have checked all the fuses at the passenger dash panel and they are all good and there is 12v at the radio fuse location. I have checked all fuses in engine bay but I keep seeing posts about another main fuse that feed the interior ? can you help me before i go madder !

Hi
im thinking about buying a cheap RENAULT ZOE ELECTRIC car
low milage needs a front headlight.
I noticed the car has no keycard and has not been mot ed for last 18 months possibly stood for 18 months
will the motor batteries be knackered? I know the 12v battery will need to be replaced

Squealing Brakes

Hi - when driving along and not braking, the brakes will squeal a little, until that is, I then brake again. Moving off it will then either return immediately or at some other point after I have braked.

Loud vibration/drone on deceleration

I have a Grand Espace 2008 2.0 Dci Auto - not long after its last full service in Aug-18 I noticed a louder than normal engine(?) sound when slowing down and the auto gear box going from 3-2-1st gear. Its not apparent when over 30 mph but as soon as I slow down and it changes down, the external noise (general front left area of car) is very noticeable, like a large vibration/rumbling sound, quite rough.

Car drives normally and no warnings of any kind just louder than normal.

Steering Lock not activated

Grand espace 2.0 DCi 2008 - after removing key card, nothing happens until around 10 seconds later after which a click is heard in steering column, dash immobilser light comes on, radio goes off etc but the steering wheel can still be turned.

Hi looking at changing the gearbox oil given its covered nearly 100k.
Does anyone know what is the correct gearbox oil and how many liters is required.
It's a 2008 1.2 petrol manual.

Max Compression trafic 1.6 (dci115)

2014 mk3 trafic 1.6 , dci115 (R9M-408 engine)

Im about to do a compression test through glowplug ports. I cant find a value anywhere of a normal value to expect.

Anyone know roughly what the pressure should peak at?

Renault Scenic II 2006 1.9dci Low Battery warning

Hey! So I know I have an alternator problem but maybe the "things" that happened to me will spark an answer from you.
So while driving I got the LOW BATTERY warning sign... Came home, parked car and thats that. Next day I go to my car, sit down and drive off (No Low battery error). Was driving around for about half an hour before the warning came back on and eventually my car just shut down. So fast forward I recharged my battery at home, put it back in the car, started, checked voltage and I was getting 14.2! Great all is good right?... No.... I shut the car down, started again, booom the Low battery thing came on again, went to check voltage and its ~12.5 and dropping, so that means the alternator doesnt work again... I know many tests can be done to determine it better but Im pretty bad mechanically... So my question kind of is. What can cause the alternator to work sometimes and then stop working when I start it the next time. Are the most likely culprit wiring? Or a fuse? Or just the alternator somehow managing to work "half" of the time because the brushes have worn out or something like that. Any suggestions would be welcomed( or how to do tests to determine)

Hi i have megane 2005 mk2 cabriolet boot won't open emergency key will not turn rest of central locking works fine
to activate boot mechanism the boot divider screen has to be pulled and clicked into place (otherwise consult handbook error) this trips a switch
does anyone if the wires can be access anywhere other than boot
or wiring diagram / workshop manual failing that a reliable placewhere i could buy one (no haynes manual for cabriolet)

Fault code meaning Clio 65 DCi

Hi
A warning light has appeared on my 2005 70K mile Clio, no loss of performance but possibly is using more fuel than before. Three fault codes are shown,
P0847 Exhaust gas recirculation throttle control circuit A /open
P0409 Exhaust gas recirculation sensor A circuit
P0670 Glow plug control module control circuit / open

Im a bit confused as it seems an EGR and glow plug module are both responsible? Any direction would be great, thanks

2012 Megane Estate No Fan or AC

I have a 2012 Megane estate 1.5 dci which has no blower or AC working. The problem started with a flat battery, after looking at fuses and moving wires etc, it started again. On another cold morning engine cranking was slow. Car eventually started but the heater fan does not work on any setting. I have checked all fuses and they all are ok and jiggled the wires but nothing. I have read about the resistor pack being faulty but I wanted to investigate if there were any relays that could be faulty. I changed the battery with a new battery so I can discount that. Any ideas would be most welcome. If anyone has any circuit diagrams to show heater circuit etc, that would be great as my Haynes manual does not show it.

Megane thumping noise ... ABS pump pulsing ??

Hi,

Well here I am again with a strange problem, the sort that only seem to happen to me :confused:

The other halfs megane tourer (2008 1.5 dci ) has a problem with a thumping noise that appears to be coming from the front RHS (Drivers side) that only appears when you pull away and reach approx 5 mph, the thumping noise lasts for a second or two and is a series of in time thumps.

But here's the rub..... it only happens following an engine start....so start the engine and pull away and you get the thumping noise, pull over and come to a stop without turning off the engine then pull away again and there is no thumping noise.
Pull up turn the engine off, restart the engine and pull away and the thumping noise will happen every time.

At first I naturally thought the thumping noise was something to do with a CV joint (driveshaft) but then I discovered it only happens on the first pull away following the engine being started, so I now believe it's the ABS pump pulsing as the car reaches approx 5mph. (The ABS pump is located on the bulkhead in front of the Driver)

There is no noticeable braking to the car when you hear the thumping noise, there are no warning lights shown on the dash and the brakes work perfectly.


Has anyone ever come across anything like this, or am I just lucky :rolleyes:

Dpf light

Just curious if anyone's dpf light comes on.have it on dash but it has never came on.my warning to take for a run is when I get check injection.if left to late I get check emissions and then engine management light,which u have to clear for it to preform a regen.still would be better if the dpf light actually worked

1970 Renault Estafette

Hi all. Complete novice here begging help. I bought a 1970 Renault Estafette 1000. Bought it blind (don't judge my stupidity) all ok got it to body shop and it's being worked on. Big problem tho it needs a new windscreen. Has anyone got any leads on a replacement?

Even bigger problem. It starts up and ticks over, once you accelerate it cuts out. Slight smell of petrol too. Can someone give an idea to what the problem is? It'll go to a garage of it needs it but trying to keep costs down, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Guys, I'm looking at cars that will fit 3 car seats in the rear. Scenic makes the list but I haven't been able to view one yet. Would anyone be able to do me a huge favour and measure the width of the rear seats?? Thanks!

Hi everybody,

I have a 2009 Renault Laguna III 2.0dci 150hp, I have bought the kess v2 tool and I have read from the ecu. I would like to gain the performance(stage1). Could somebody help me this file modify? or do you have remap file?
