hello all first time posting here so i will try to be thorough.
i have just picked up a clio 1.2 16v petrol on a 51 plate (2002) it had no battery so i bought a new one and tried to turn it over but nothing happened,i have ignition lights,the immobiliser light doesnt light up at all i have no hazards no central locking no elec windows,i have replaced the fob battery also.
ive taken some relays out and cleaned them also some fuses,im at a loss for now.
anyone any ideas as i googled this and searched everywere for an answer.

hi can anyone tell me what pipe/hose this is, slight oil leak from bottom or top of hose connected into bottom of engine and pipe looks like a vent or valve

Can any one help the valve coming from the air intake to the crankcase breather has oil round it can you seal this with sealent not alot of oil or do you need to get a hole new air intake I have a 2.0l DCI Laguna 3

Hi does anybody know where the central locking control unit is on a laguna 1.8 sport. I have looked in the drivers footwell behind the inner sill plastic trim as per Hanes Manuel. but there is no evidence of it there only a plastic retainer type clip it looks as though it should be there.
The problem I have is the central locking remote sometimes will not operate the central locking at all then all of a sudden it starts working again. Have checked batteries in remote they are fine if I open the drivers door the remote works but obviously the buttons on the rear doors just pop up and down.

So i have a black mk2 megane with the grey bumper and door trim and i hate it. Absolutely want to get the painted black ones.. wanting to know what other people have done, like whether the trim is interchangeable between the models with the painted trim.. Not willing to pay for brand new parts or anything silly. Any advice is appreciated and i'm open to any ideas at this point haha

Hi, i'm new on here.I've got a 2004 laguna 11 - 1.8.not had it long,the serv light is coming and staying on.is this just a reminder that a service is due?also the abs light has come on aswell is this a common problem and is it a major fault?would like to hear from anyone on this pls.

Hi All

Been trying to start car (2002 clio 1.4) for 3 months now after it just would start one morning all other systems work though

I’ve got the solid red light on dash problem AND obd2/Clip will not work

I’ve tried new ecu uch etc combo

taken out white block connector and soldered/heat rapped the wires

tried removing all unnecessary circuits ( in case of interference)

traced wires as far as possible no brakes or shorts (that I can find lol )
green obd to ecu
purple/white dash to obd to uch to ecu
All resistances on CANbus seem ok (ether 120 or 60 ohm)

SOO the question is can anyone work miracles OR have the got a clio ph2 I can test my old and or new ecu on

More than happy to pay this is driving me crazy please please help

I have the following code in the PAS (Electronic Power Steering) and is Permanent so will not clear. Any help would be great.

DF055 - Computer, Memory
- Internal electronic fault
- permanent

My PAS is working great and you can feel the power steering is working. Is this a fault about nothing or should I fix it. If so any ideas of this fault.

I have the following codes in the Tyre Pressure Monitoring ECU and cannot erase them.

DF016 - At least 2 identical wheel valve codes.
DF017 - At least 2 identical wheel valve codes.
DF018 - Prog 4 codes in wheel set not performed.
DF019 - Prog 4 codes in wheel set not performed.

Is this nothing serious or should I address it. I have no warnings on the dash but would like to cure it to have no fault codes on my car.

can someone help!!!

when i indicate my headlights go out, also my display light goes off and will sometimes come on again if i indicate again, (the display doesn't always work). has anyone got any ideas what could be causing this?

Hi, Can anyone help please,i purchased a 2005 1.5 dci grand scenic 3 weeks ago and i just fitted a new diesel filter and while i was doing this noticed the coolant reservoir tank on max level and there wasn't any movement in the tank i removed the cap, their it was full off clean light brown oil it hadn't emulsified with the small amount of water at the bottom of the tank.

I think maybe someone has put engine oil in this mistaking it for oil filler cap:confused::confused:
it can't be the head gasket thats gone the oil looks brand new.

The problem i have is i have removed this tank and cleaned it, re fitted it filed it back up with water removed the bleed cap and bled it. Run the engine to operating temp found there isn't and movement inside the tank the water isn't circulating i am a little
lost now could it be the water pump or a blockage somewhere.

looking from the Front of the vehicle which is the No1 piston in the 1721cc engine in a 1987 trafic the one nearest the Radiator or one nearest the distributer? and anyone know what this ELE.346+ ELE.-0.3 In fig 1.33 page 161 of the Peter Russek manual is all about upon fitting a new cambelt ?

Again thanks in advance and please excuse my ignorance but I have just moved into these "wet" engines from "aircooled " engines you see I am not trying to quick fix repair my Trafic auto sleeper I am trying to restore it :confused:
